Pretty in Pink

Today I would like to show you one of my new favourite outfits for spring. This outfit looks very current yet classy and the pink jeans paired with the bow shoes add a fun pop of colour which will brighten up any outfit.

The first part of my outfit that I am desperate to talk about are these Michael Kors shoes which I purchased from TK Maxx. I am in love with everything about these shoes, especially the cute little pink bows on them, I think it is amazing how the bows completely transform the shoes. I also love the pale pink patent lining that goes round the shoes and the little gold stud on the back makes them feel even more special. I was so happy when I found these shoes as it can be difficult for me to find shoes since my feet are usually only a size 3 and they are also very narrow so when I tried the shoes on and they fitted I knew that they were meant to be.

The next thing that I am wearing is my pink jeans. I had been desperate to get a pair of coloured jeans/trousers for a while but I had not found anything that was quite right. After trying on about a million different pairs of jeans and trousers I was beginning to despair until I managed to find these girls pink jeans from H&M. At first when I tried these jeans on I wasn’t quite sure whether or not I should get them because they have rips on the knees and usually I am not a ripped jeans person but in the end I decided that it was something a bit different and I am now really glad that I got them. I like how the rips are relatively subtle but they still add an extra something to the jeans and it helps the jeans to contrast nicely with the top that I am wearing.

The top that I am wearing is from Zara. I really love this top because I feel as though it looks great for spring time and is definitely a wardrobe staple for this time of year and of course for summer. The broderie anglaise pattern is very in this year but it is also very classic and you will be able to wear it year after year without looking dated. One of my favourite things about this top is the V at the back and of course the tie at the back which works well with my bow shoes and the tassels at the end make the top even nicer. I already know that I am going to be drawn to this top over and over again this spring and summer.

Finally, the faux leather jacket that I am wearing is also from Zara. It works perfectly to complete the look and is a great jacket for spring. The colour is so lovely and it would go with so many outfits. I also think the style is very pretty and unlike a biker jacket which personally I wouldn’t usually zip up, this jacket also looks very stylish when zipped up which is brilliant for those days where it is a tiny bit more chilly outside.
